Our philosophy

The philosophy of our care home is the belief that residents are entitled to be treated as individuals. The care in the home should not be institutionalised by the requirement of the staff because it is the home of the resident and their needs come first according to the procedures laid out in the home’s policies for the safe delivery of the service.

So to achieve this all residents will be assessed and individual care plans developed from this information. These care plans are updated regularly to take account of changes that may occur and are accessible to residents and their families, care staff, professionals, care agencies whilst complying with the Data Protection Act and the wishes of the resident in respecting confidentiality.
